Free potty training help for your dog.

Every dog has a natural desire to keep his home clean and not eliminate at his sleeping quarter.

I will show you how to potty train your dog using a crate. Teach your dog to always eliminate outside your house in a chosen location for his toilet area. Puppies should be taken to their toilet area after eating, sleeping, playing and every hour. Until your pup is potty trained, he should always be under direct supervision or in his crate.

7 steps in potty training your pup.

1. Place a chew toy in his crate, and put him in the same room with you during this training
period, so that he doesn't feel isolated.

2. Let your dogs out every hour for elimination, but if you find him circling, or sniffing before
the hour is up, allow him to leave the crate for elimination.

3. Leash your dog and walk quickly with him outside to the designated toilet area. ( walking
quickly prevents elimination on the way out.)

4. Wait five minutes for your dog to eliminate, and sometimes it may take longer, but as soon
as he has finished, give him a special treat and praise him enthusiastically. ( If your dog
cannot eliminate during the five minutes or so, then place him back to the crate and try
again after an hour.

5. After your dog has eliminated, allow him to play in a control area in the house for about half
an hour, but closely watching him for signs of going to the toilet.

6. After play time put him back in the crate for rest.

7. Repeat this training throughout the day. Each week increase his crate time by 15 minutes
until it reaches 2 hours. Keep working and increasing the time and soon he would have
acquire a habit of eliminating outside the house. Potty training can go on for a month or two
deferring from different dogs.
